He Knows You

 You have searched me, Lord, and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down. You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, You, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Psalm 139:1-6

     Jesus knows the number of our days. He counts the hairs on our heads. He is behind, beside and before us. He has the answers to eternal life.

Simon Peter replied, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words to eternal life." John 6:68

     This fallen world does not have the answers. We will never understand all of it, but we have this life to live and we have Jesus to get us through. Take comfort this morning. Be at peace. He has you in the palm of His hand and He loves you.  He knows you. Where else would we go? He has eternity waiting just for you and me.

Father,

Your ways are too high and wonderful for us to understand.  Give us deep peace and confidence this morning.  You've got his!
