We routinely say,
“God bless you!” when someone sneezes. A blessing from God is nothing to sneeze
at! It is a sacred and beautiful Biblical reality to offer others a blessing. A Jewish father would bestow a
blessing onto his children. The Bible shares blessing after blessing for us.
Let the blessing of the Lord flow over you as you begin your day.
He will
bless those who fear the Lord-small and great alike. May the Lord cause you to
flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker
of heaven and earth. Psalm 115:13-15
And God
is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, having
all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
The Lord
bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to
you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6;24-26
Jesus will give you
what you need today. Let His blessing go before you, surround you and follow
you wherever you go.
Jesus,
Bless each person reading this prayer. Lavish Your incredible
love upon them and watch over them. Ease their burdens and fill them with Your
Holy Spirit. We receive the blessing of
the Lord.
Amen
