The Ancient Path/Faith

     The 11^th chapter of the book of Hebrews is considered the faith chapter, filled with the heroes of the faith. This wonderful chapter begins with a definition of faith. I have this verse hanging over my kitchen sink.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11;1

          Faith. It is what pleases God. By our faith, we receive the free gift of salvation. It is everything in God’s eyes. Believing in Him, having faith even when we do not see. Faith brings hope.

And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

     Come to God in faith today. Take Him at His Word. Believe in Jesus Christ. He died for you and all it takes is to receive.

Lord,

We thank You for the gifts you give us. As we earnestly seek You, You promise to reward us, as our faith pleases You. We believe.
