Jesus speaks to His Father in heaven in the 17th
Chapter of John. In His words, He reminds us He and the Father are one. And He prays for
His disciples and His followers.
I will
remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming
to You, Holy Father. Protect them by the power of Your name, the name You gave
Me, so that they may be one as we are one.
I am
coming to You now, but I say these things while I am sstill in the world, so
that they may have the full measure of My joy within them. John 17:11 and 13
Do you have the joy
of the Lord within you? I pray that for you. His joy is like nothing else in
this world. Nothing compares to Him and His love. Not only do we have His love
and deep spiritual joy, but we have His name to protect us. His name is above
all names.
Therefore,
God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every
name. Philippians 2:9
I cringe when I
hear the name of Jesus spoken as a curse word or spoken lightly. His is the
name above all names, a name to be revered and spoken in the highest regard,
the name of our Savior. Use it to honor Him and to protect you and your family.
Jesus,
Your name is above all others and Your joy makes us complete
until we are with You in heaven.
Amen
