The Great Romans 8

As believers, we have the very Spirit of God living within us, sealed forever and ever. (Ephesians 1:13) We are God’s children and we can go to Him as to a loving Father.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again. Rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by this, we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:14-15

Remember this when you are afraid or unsettled. The term, “Abba,” can be translated as “daddy.” Such an intimate and loving term. We can run to Him as little children in need of a loving daddy. The Holy Spirit testifies to us that we are children. Thank Him today.

Father, “Daddy,”

How we love You and all that You have done and continue to do for us. Lead us into peace, knowing that you are watching out for us as though You are our daddy, our papa, our caregiver.

In Jesus name,

Amen
