Maybe you are
feeling alone and lost right now. Or waiting desperately for a prayer to be
answered. Maybe you don’t have the best relationship with your parents or with
your children. You may have a child who
has strayed into trouble. Pain is real and all around us right now. Unrest,
unease, uncertainty.
What will the world
look like as our grandchildren grow? How
about you? We need each other more than ever and we need the presence of God to
steer us.
He is our
ever-present help.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present
help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Whatever your
worries, whatever your fears, whatever your circumstances, you have an anchor
for your very soul, and a loving Father looking after you.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm
and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary, behind the curtain. Hebrews 6:19
God’s great love
has been lavished on us (1 John 3:1). Rely
on Your Father and sit with Him awhile. Hold on to the anchor of hope, firm and
secure, forever. God always looks at the heart. You are His beloved child.
Amen
