Be Still

Rushed?   Be still

Scrolling?   Be still

Exhausted?   Be still

Angry?   Be still

Worried?   Be still

Scared?   Be still

Joyful?   Be still

Excited?   Be still

Comfortable?   Be still

Grief-stricken?   Be still

Thankful?   Be still

You get the point. God finds us in the stillness of an early morning, in the five-minute break as we take a deep breath and recognize His presence, in the glorious praise we give Him for all He has done for us, as we take time for His precious Word, in the intimate time of prayer, where we offer everything to Him.  Be still and know Him

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him…Psalm 37:7a

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10a

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. Psalm 62:5

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. Isaiah 32:17

Father,

How beautiful are Your words for us! Let our quietness bring peace and trust. Instruct us with a whisper, as we take time for You.

In Jesus name,

Amen
