Pray in desperation. Pray in deep gratitude. Pray in grief and
mourning. Pray in the beauty of creation. Pray over the meal. Pray over the
child. Pray over the world. Pray with your spouse. Pray with other believers.
Pray with Jesus. Be faithful in prayer.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful
in prayer. Romans 12:12
Devote yourselves in prayer, being watchful and
thankful. Colossians 4:2
As I pray
for you all this morning, may you be filled with courage to get through the
day, may you be filled with hope for the future, may your hearts be comforted
with love and may you trust Jesus with it all. Pray.
And this is my prayer, that your love may abound
more and more in knowledge and depth of insight. Philippians 1:9
Lord,
Teach us to pray, to trust and to hope.
