That amazing love of our God is an everlasting
love. Look at these verses with me today:
The
Lord appeared to us in the past saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting
love. I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Jeremiah 31:3
Do
you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator
of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and His understanding
no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28
But
from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him, and
His righteousness with their children’s children. Psalm 103:17
Couldn’t
we camp out on those verses all day? Beyond this life is an everlasting love.
God has drawn you with loving kindness. He brings hope to our children’s
children. He does not grow tired or weary even when we do. He understands so
much more than our frail human minds can fathom.
“For
my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the
Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9-10
Can you
place your life firmly in His capable hands? He loves you forever and ever.
Stepping into heaven to experience an everlasting love with a compassionate,
loving, holy God is a promise He will keep. In the meantime, He will never give
up on you and me.
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank you for these beautiful Words for us today.
Your love is forever. Accepting the amazing grace of Your Son includes a reservation
in heaven. It is everlasting.
