ancient stories in the Bible. Faith. It’s all about faith.
This is
what the ancients were commended for. Hebrews 11:2
This is
what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient
paths and where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for
your souls. Jeremiah 6:16a
Through the words
of Hebrews 11, we will look at some of those ancient paths and what they have
in common. Where do they lead us today? The full counsel of God from Genesis to
Revelation is for us to gain knowledge and wisdom, to find words for life made
just for us, to convict, to teach, to learn from the past and look to the
future. Here are the words of eternal life. Let’s walk in them.
Lord,
Thank You for the ancient paths. Teach us to follow and walk
in them. They lead us directly to You.
