In the beautiful words of Jesus in John 17, He has prayed for
Himself to be glorified, He has prayed for His disciples and followers still in
the world to be protected and to have His joy. Now, He prays for you and for
me!
“My
prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me
through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in
Me and I am in You. May they also be in us so that the world may believe You
have sent Me.” John 17:20-21
We have believed
the message of Christ and for that reason alone, we are made one with the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are united as members of the body of Christ for
eternity. Let this message flow from you to the suffering world around us. May
the world believe!
