Everything we do, everything, can bring glory to God. Every act of service, every sacrificial act of kindness, the love we give our families can be seen as a gift offering to God. This just fills me with gratitude. As we give to others, God enriches us in every way. Listen to these verses.
You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous on every occasion and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11-12
Thanks be to God! That’s what it’s all about. None of us will live forever on this earth, but we will live forever with our Lord and we can never repay Him for all He has given us. As we live out the rest of our lives, let our lives be enriched by His blessings as we give glory to Him. Give thanks, always. It is His will for us.
Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Jesus,
We honor You with our thanksgiving and praise. You give us everything we need. Keep our hearts filled with Your love over this holiday season, always giving thanks.
