The inward work of the Holy Spirit is supernatural.
When you look back over the years of following Jesus, you will witness a
change. A change in attitude, a change in the peace within, a change in an
ever-increasing forgiving heart. Yes, it’s a heart change.
Our
outward bodies may be growing weaker. Our inward strength will be drawing us
closer and closer to the image of Christ, until we reach our final glorious
state in heaven. Let each footstep bring excitement as we move closer to
eternity. Our final reward will outweigh everything we have suffered on this
earth. And here are my favorite Bible verses!
Therefore
we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are
being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving
for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on
what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what
is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4;16-18
Jesus,
Thank
You for our country. Protect our freedoms and protect our families as we
celebrate this week. You give us the ultimate freedom from death. Keep us
safe in You.
Amen
Happy 4th of July. See you next Wednesday, July 6th!
