My aunt and uncle read the 91st
Psalm every single morning during their son’s time in Vietnam. This beatutiful
Psalm reminds us of God’s refuge, His strength, His protection. The worst that
can happen to us is the death of our bodies. Our soul is alive with Christ and
one day, our bodies will be eternal. What hope this provides!
He will
cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His
faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of
night nor the arrow that flies by day. Psalm 91:4-5
Take time to read through all of
Psalm 91 and feel protected and loved. God is our refuge and our strength. He
will cover you with His feathers.
Lord,
What a beautiful picture you
provide for us of Your comforting and protective presence. We count on You
today and give You our fears.
