Jesus is the good shepherd and we are the sheep. He tends to
our needs. He sets boundaries when we are about to escape from His watchful
eye. He carries us when we are hurt. He feeds and nourishes our souls. Listen
for the good shepherd. When we belong to Him, we recognize His voice.
My sheep
listen to My voice. I know them and they follow Me. John 10:27
He cares for us. He
laid down His life for us. He offers us peace and safety, eternally.
I am the
gate. Whoever enters through Me will be saved They will come in and go out and
find pasture. John 10:9
If you have time
read through the 23rd Psalm. The
Lord is our Shepherd.
Father,
Jesus is our good shepherd. We thank You for giving us this
picture of the One who cares for us, finding safe places for our souls, guiding
us tenderly, until we arrive home.
