Our Tears

 

     God is familiar with everything in our lives. Because He walked the earth, He understands our sorrow, our joy, our hunger, our weariness. He experienced it all, just as we do. But as eternal God, He also understands the unanswerable questions that face us.

     Did you know God keeps our tears in a bottle? That is so comforting. He holds our happy tears and our tears of deep grief and sorrow.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book. Psalm 56:8

     Our loving God is with us through it all and one day, we will understand. One day all will become clear. And one day, He will wipe all of the sadness, all of the heartache, all of the worry away.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21;4

Lord,

As we wait for the day we meet You, it helps to remember, You understand it all. Comfort us as we wait and thank You for each blessing You give us.
