What
does freedom mean to you? Are you bound up in guilt, pain or addiction? Is there
a prison wall surrounding you and keeping you from experiencing life? Are the tears
bottled up from pain and never released?
Allow
Christ to unlock the padlock around your heart, to free you from any bondage
you have been fighting. He will open the prison cells and set you free!
The
Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to
proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted; to
proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
Isaiah 61:1
So
if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
Jesus
offers spiritual freedom. That includes freedom from death. Make peace with
eternity. Remove your fear of death and remain free indeed in Christ.
Thank you Jesus, for freeing us. You remove us from
darkness and place us right out in the open, in the light of day. You call us
children of the day. Let us live as if we are free indeed. Free to enjoy this
short life of ours, knowing we will live forever. Make our lives count.
