The
only way to stay in the world and not of the world is to stay in the Word.
God’s word transforms us into the image of Christ. Walking in His ways and
listening to His voice renews our minds. The word of God is supernatural, alive
and powerful. Do not be conformed to this world and its seductive powers.
Do
not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-His
good, perfect and pleasing will. Romans 12:2
Renew
your mind in God’s word continually. Testing and praying and comparing the
things of the world to His word will bring peace and joy and a way to walk
humbly before our God. His will is good. It is pleasing. It is perfect.
Lord,
Transform our hearts and renew our minds to walk
in Your perfect will. The world continues to knock on our hearts and minds and
ways. Some days it feels impossible to keep it at bay. With You, we have
strength, power and will.
