The Holy Spirit of God resides within us as believers in
Jesus Christ. Never forget that. He will comfort, guide, encourage, embolden
and teach us every day. When others persecute you, don’t despair. He will give
you the words to say. Standing up for Jesus will bring blessing into your life.

The word
“advocate” comes from the Greek word paraclete.
This is a complex word that brings so much meaning into our beloved Holy
spirit. He is our advocate, our encourager, our intercessor, our companion, our
power.
Lord,
We take heart today. Fill us with the power of the Holy
Spirit. We want to follow His lead as He continually guides us into the ways we
should go. Remind us, too, that the world does not recognize Him or know Him.
We long for that.
