What brings joy to your life? There can be so many hidden joys available to us if we have the heart to see. The gift of the rising sun each day, the pleasure of reading a book or savoring a cup of coffee with a friend, being able to see and hear, or walk and talk. When we stop to ponder it all, each and every part of our lives is filled with miracles.
Creation itself is a gift from our God. The variety in the trees, the flowers, in the birds and the animals is astounding. Imagine the design of the giraffe, the zebra, the koala, the eagle and the wren. He created all of this for us to enjoy, to inhabit, to cultivate, to maintain.
Today enjoy the simple joy of the creation surrounding you, no matter the time or the season. There is so much around us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:26
God is so good to us. Thank Him today for the miracles all around you.
Lord,
The simple joys in life include Your creation. Help us not to take it for granted when we witness the beauty and wonder of the earth and everything on it.
