Trusting God With All of Our Days

So far this week, we have looked at anxiety and weakness. Thanks, Judy, for such uplifting topics in our walk of faith. How precious are the days of smooth sailing, of sun-filled boat rides, of trips with our loved ones, of celebrating another birthday with a parent or child, of new babies and weddings.

Waking up with a grateful heart each morning, with our focus on things above, will put us in the right frame of mind to begin the day. I love studying and meditating on the word of God. There are always answers filled with hope for you and for me.

Trusting God each day isn’t easy, but with the help of the Holy Spirit within us, we can keep our hearts and our minds right where they belong.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

These verses are worth memorizing. The key to trusting God with all things is to acknowledge Him in ALL of our ways, on our weakest days, in our most fret-filled moments, in our days of grace and joy.  Every day, all day, acknowledge His lead and trust Him.

God is alive and eternal and so are we. We are looking forward to our citizenship in heaven. In the meantime, trust, trust, trust.

For this world is not our permanent home. We are looking forward to a home yet to come. Hebrews 13:14

Father,

Our home is with You now and forever. We place our trust in You through each day, through the tough times and the days filled with smiles. We are Yours forever.

In Jesus name,

Amen
