Light and love and hope. How do we remain hopeful in this world? I think our hope depends solely on what we believe about God. Do we believe He is real? Do we believe He speaks truth? Do we believe He keeps His promises? Do we believe He has defeated sin and death on the cross?
Believing in the risen Lord always brings hope.
Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:5
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24
Belief and trust in God make us strong and hopeful. Hope beyond our five senses and all circumstances around us. Hope beyond the grave. Our trust and our hope belong to Jesus. And hope in Him brings a deep and abiding joy as we trust in Him.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
Let the verse below be our prayer today:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
