Remember,
God’s work always continues in us. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. The
Bible reminds us our lives are but a vapor, a mist, a wisp.
Why, you don’t even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your
life? You are a mist that appears for a while and then vanishes. James 4:14
I am grateful for each day of life. As we
continue to live out our very short lives, keep Jesus front and center. The true
blessings in our lives will flow from that love, His love for us and our love
for Him in return.
If we look for ways to bring glory to His
name, we will continue to be filled to the brim with His love, His joy, His
peace. Not easy, is it?
There are days of frustration and worry,
days of health concerns and days of being too busy. The days move on, sometimes
decades move on, just as James told us, as a wisp. But God loves us, not
because of what we do or don’t do, but because of who He is. Live each day
fully. Watch for miracles. Don’t compare your life to others. God loves you,
just as you are right this minute. You are His.
Jesus,
We thank
You for this precious life of ours. Continue Your work in us with Your love,
even when we don’t feel it or see what You are doing. We place our trust in You.
