Celebrating New Life

Did you know that when you become a Christian you become a new creation? Jesus takes away our sin and death, once and for all, and we are already seated in heaven with our names written in the Book of Life. Wow!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!  2 Corinthians 5:17

The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the promise of new life now and forever. You may have heard these words of comfort at a funeral.

We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  Romans 6:4

We are sealed.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a depost guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of His glory.  Ephesians 1:13-14

When you are down, when you doubt, if you are in debt or feeling depressed, remember this deposit. Recognize there is an invisible seal on your forehead and in your heart. This guarantee is the ultimate hope for glory. You are going to heaven! Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Your sins are forgiven, past, present and future.

Satan may tempt us with his lies, oppress us with temptation, but he knows he can never, ever gain access to us. We are redeemed!! Now, let the Holy Spirit’s guarantee guide you into a lifetime of joy, peace and purpose. You are a new creation! The old has gone, the new has come. Live the new life now and forever. This earthly life is gone in a moment and love reminas forever. Let’s celebrate!

Dear Father in Heaven,
Thank you for Your Holy Spirit, the deposit for heaven. You have given us this guarantee and nothing can take it away. Jesus promised us eternal life. All we need to do is believe in Him. An amazing gift of amazing grace. We don’t deserve it, but we celebrate this gift with You.
In Jesus Name
Amen
