Did you know that when you become a Christian you
become a new creation? Jesus takes away our sin and death, once and for all,
and we are already seated in heaven with our names written in the Book of Life.
Wow!
Therefore,
if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is
here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
The
baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the promise of new life now and forever.
You may have heard these words of comfort at a funeral.
We
were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just
as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life. Romans 6:4
We are sealed.
And
you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the
gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a
seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a depost guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of His
glory. Ephesians 1:13-14
