I’m off for a girl’s weekend. Fall colors, good
food, shopping, all shared with life-long friends. This year will be one of the
first without Patsy. The memories and
stories will be there with us and we know she will remain a vital part of our
group as long as we live. Take time this weekend to appreciate God’s creation
no matter where you are.
If there
isn’t anyone special to share this weekend with you, look to God to be your
refuge and to love you with His unconditional love. His creation is all around.
Your
love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness
is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord
preserve both people and animals. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God.
People take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
