Leaders
have the ability to instill vision, to motivate and to coordinate others in ministry.
They have confidence in the vision and are able to set goals and encourage groups
to work together to attain that goal. They can see how all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit can work
together.
Leaders need to stay close to their
relationship with Christ and move people closer to Him rather than to their own
personal leadership.
…if
it is leadership, let him govern diligently. Romans 12:8b
People develop trust and confidence in a true leader. Do you have the spiritual gift
of leadership? Do you enjoy being the one with the overall responsibility for the
direction of a group or organization? Do others look to you when a difficult
situation arises? Do you step into a leadership role easily when none exists? Leaders play a vital role in the body of Christ.
Father,
Today
we thank You for those You have chosen to lead. Keep them humble and in service
to You alone. We thank You for those willing to take responsibility and to take
Your vision and motivate others to do their part.
In
Jesus name
Amen
