Praise and Worship

As we end our week of praise and worship, I leave you with several verses of praise. King David sang for the Lord. He danced for the Lord. He worshipped God even as his heart was breaking. He was called the King after God’s own heart. I pray you are a king of God’s heart, too. Enjoy the praises written by King David some 2500 years ago.

I will be glad and rejoice in You. I will sing the praises of Your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:2

Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people, praise His holy name. for His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4-5

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders You have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you. Were I to speak and tell of Your deeds, they would be too many to declare. Psalm 40:5

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise, His greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:3

My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145;21

Lord,

We praise You and we worship You. We sing before You and we thank You.

Amen

Praise and Worship

Let God’s creation bring praise from us. The Bible tells us that in the new heaven and the new earth, Jesus will be our light. Think of how creation turns to the sun as it rises in the morning. Birds sing, roosters crow, flowers turn their heads and seeds grow. How magnificent! The whole earth praises Him right along with us.

Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and all that move in them. Psalm 69:34

Praise be to His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen. Psalm 72;19

Heaven is filled with light and filled with color (see Revelation 21) I love to think of the stars and the moon as glimpses into heaven through the darkness. And the rainbow after the storm? Heaven opening with the promises of our God.

Praise Him, sun and moon, praise Him all you shining stars. Psalm 148:3

I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of My covenant between Me and the earth. Genesis 9:13

Lord,

Your reminders are all around us. The very earth sings praises to You and longs for Your return. We thank You for the marvels of creation, the animals, the trees and flowers, the sun, moon and stars and the glorious rainbow opening right to heaven. We praise You!

In Jesus name,

Amen

Praise and Worship

Sometimes, it seems impossible to praise God, to trust Him when life appears to be falling apart. When we turn our focus to heaven, when we praise Him no matter how we feel or no matter the fear set before us, He brings us peace. Praise God for who He is even in the most-dire of circumstances. Yes, yet we will praise Him!

Why my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42;11

It takes sacrifice to praise God when we simply don’t feel like it. He honors out praise when it is difficult to do.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that openly confess His name. Hebrews 13:15

And there is the secret to praising God. It is only through Jesus. Through His strength, through His name, through His sacrifice for us. Give Him praise continually!

Jesus,

We offer praise to You, the One worthy to be praised. Keep us continually in contact with You throughout our days and offer lips of thanksgiving to our God.

Amen

Praise and Worship

One of the many benefits of fellowship comes in singing praises to God in worship. God loves to hear our assembly praising Him as one. Listen to some worship music as you rest. Sing in church worship. He will put a new song in your heart.

Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people, praise His holy name. Psalm 30:4

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him. Psalm 40:3

Did you know that God Himself sings songs over us? Isn’t that a beautiful thought? He takes great delight in you!

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you’ in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

As you sing praises to our God, He is taking great delight in you and rejoicing over you with singing!

Father,

We don’t deserve the great blessings You give us each day. Watch over us. Delight in us as we sing Your praises each day.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Praise and Worship

A recent Bible study challenged us to begin each time of prayer with worship. Begin with thanksgiving for who God is, before you share you needs, before you unleash your fears, before you cry out for help. Remind yourself of who your God is and what he can do and where He resides.

God is our Creator. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. All things were made by Him and through Him and for Him. He designed the sun and the moon and He counts and names the stars in the sky. He counts the number of hairs on your head. He has control over the universe and, at the same time, is involved in every detail of our lives.

Begin with worship. It puts everything in perspective. Place everything in the hands of the One who is worthy to be praised. And in the scheme of eternity our problems, our pain, our perplexities are but a moment.

The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! Psalm 18:46

Like Your name, O’ God, Your praise reaches to the ends of the earth, your right hand is filled with righteousness. Psalm 48:10

Begin and end the day praising and thanking God, for your life, for His faithfulness, for His creation, for your many blessings. Amen

Freedom

The barrier between us and our holy God has been demolished! Jesus death and His shed blood of the sinless man, took the punishment we deserve. Now, through our faith, (that’s all it takes!) we have an open door to heaven.

This verse will remind us that we have confidence and freedom because of this great gift.

In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:12

Approach God with confidence in Jesus and His saving work in your life.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4;16

I need that daily dose of mercy and grace, don’t you? He is there in our time of need giving us grace upon grace.

Father,

We thank You for allowing us into heaven through Jesus. We have confidence in Him alone, as we come to You with our every need. Give us mercy and grace on this day.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Freedom

The free gift of forgiveness and salvation is almost impossible to believe, isn’t it? As human beings, we want to “do” something, to be good enough, to show ourselves worthy, to prove we deserve it. But there is absolutely nothing we can do. Our sin separates us from God and there is no way around sin. We were born into it.

Keep reminding yourselves that you are free from any penalty of sin, as a believer in Jesus Christ. Once you believed, you were set free. It is finished. God no longer sees our sin. He sees the righteousness of Christ. Imagine that! Breath in freedom. Live out your life with great passion and hope and joy. You are saved forever and free from sin’s hold.

Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. John 8:12

So if the Son set you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36

It is truth. And we are free indeed!

Lord,

There is no way to work ourselves into heaven. Only a sinless man has the privilege of being in the presence of a holy God. That sinless man is Your Son, Jesus. He has set us free forever and in His name we pray.

Amen

Freedom

Jesus saves our souls. And He transforms our lives. Cry out to Him for help. Ask Him into your life and pray for your needs, for your family, for our nation. He will continue to break wide open the chains that hold us in bondage.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and broke away their chains. Psalm 107:13-14

It’s good to remember that before Christ we lived in darkness. We didn’t know it. We even enjoyed the dark. But His glorious light shines brighter than even our best day before Him. Let His light shine on you today. Feel the warmth of His gaze on you and your circumstances. He hears you and He will continue to make the world around you brighter and brighter.

Jesus,

Thank you for your continual work in us. You never give up and you hear us as we return to You over and over again. Here I am again, Lord. You are the God of second chances. Shine your light on the world around us and guide us into the life You have planned for us.

Amen

Freedom

So much can keep us in chains. The only key to real freedom is found in our faith. Guilt and shame bind us to the past. Worry robs us of today. Fear and doubt keep us from our dreams for tomorrow. Let’s remove the chains that bind us.

Because of Jesus, we have access to heaven. Before the cross, the Jewish people went to the temple to pray. Only the high priest could enter the inner-most part of the temple called, “The Holy of Holies.” This is where the presence of God resided. The entrance was covered by a huge veil.

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:16-17

Not only is the veil taken away, but the very temple of God now resides within us! The Holy Spirit of the risen Lord lives in us. And where the Spirit is, freedom reigns

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 Corinthians 6:19

I am thankful I am no longer my own. That was nothing but trouble! We house the Spirit of the living God. We have freedom to enter the throne of heaven. The Spirit gives freedom.

Lord,

We thank You for the freedom you have brought into our lives. There is no longer separation from You. Jesus bridged the gap, took us as His own and seals us with His own Spirit. The Spirit that brings freedom.

Amen

Freedom

Freedom is our word of the week. Jesus offers us a life of freedom. Freedom from legalistic religion. Freedom from bondage to addiction and abuse. Freedom from worry and anxiety. And best of all, freedom from death! He offers life, an abundant life filled with joy. The following verse is taken from the amplified Bible for you today.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, until it overflows.) (John 10:10 AMP)

I don’t know about you, but enjoying life, the abundant life to the full, until it overflows sounds like a great promise to me.  Let the freedom of Jesus Christ reign in your heart until it overflows. You will live forever because of Him. And you have Him every single day until your foot steps into heaven. Ahh, freedom!

Jesus,

You set us free! We will move from earth to live with You forever. You finished the work of sin on the cross and You offer us the gift of eternal life. We bask in Your love and the freedom it brings to us day-by-day.

Amen

Spiritual Blessings

You can pray and speak blessings and benedictions over your friends and family. Ask for God to bless them and keep them. (Numbers 6:24-26) You can read particular Scripture verses over their situations and trust God in His promises. A blessing is a powerful tool for small children before they leave for school or before they go to bed.

Pray for God’s protection, for His love, for His mercy, for His guidance to penetrate the lives of those who don’t know Him. Think of the incredible blessing of just leading one person to Jesus. It fills my heart with joy. Here is a blessing for you as I lift you up to our God this morning as I type.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Lord,

As believers, we are one in the Holy Spirit. We are family, brothers and sisters, now and forever! Bestow your blessings on each person reading this and keep them filled with Your grace.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Spiritual Hope

Hope is a beautiful word. Hope is just ahead. Hope gives us energy to face another day. Hope eternal takes away the fear of death. Hope in God takes away our fear of life. Trust Him today. Hope for tomorrow. Give Him everything on your heart and wait patiently for Him to work.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

I have witnessed this verse in action. Maybe you have, too. There are true believers in Jesus, those that have walked with Him for decades. And no matter the worries in their heart or the suffering in their bodies, or the fear of loss, they overflow with hope. They trust in the God of hope. And they are filled with peace and joy. Impossible? Not with the God of hope.

Jesus,

Find hope for us today. Help us to focus on You above the suffering in our lives. Fill us with the peace and joy of knowing You and the Holy Spirit within us. Overwhelm us with Your presence.
Amdn

Spiritual Fruit

When we are filled with the Spirit and walk with the Spirit, we will grow spiritual fruit in our lives. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. (John 15) When we abide in the vine He will grow the fruit. And just what does this fruit look like? Here it is.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22

Which fruit needs tending in your life? Scripture can give you clues on how to grow in each one of the fruit of the Spirit. When we grow healthy fruit, it will show in us and through us to the world around us.

Lord,

Grow good fruit in us. Your love covers a multitude of sins. Unconditional love taught by You will help all of the other fruit to grow to maturity.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Spiritual Battle

Did you know that our flesh and our spirit are at war? It’s a battle. Our human minds, feelings and emotions get us into trouble. We head down the wrong path. Say yes when we should say no. Our tongues move ahead of our spirit and we get ourselves in trouble.

How do we learn to walk with the Holy Spirit? Knowing and studying God’s Word will bring answers to life. The Word is alive and speaks directly to our spirits. God’s Word is sent from heaven for our benefit. Jesus saved us on the cross and we are going to heaven! Besides the greatest gift ever given, He promises us the Holy Spirit to be with us throughout the rest of our lives.

The Holy Spirit teaches, guides, comforts, and intercedes for us. The Spirit wants the best for us, to keep us healthy in body, mind and soul. Let’s listen to Him and win the battle today.

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want. Galatians 5:16-17

Lord,

Let Your Holy Spirit be the leader in our lives today. Lead us with love and truth and help us to listen and to walk side-by-side with You.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Spiritual Strength

The enemy of our souls looks for ways to disrupt our lives. He wants to discontinue our work for Christ. His aim is to bring us down with his deceptive ways. He will fill our lives with temptation, with doubt, with fear, with worry and much of his battlefield is within our own minds. Today see yourself as a chosen child of God. Adopted into the family of the King! You are justified through faith. You have the righteousness of Christ. You are seated in heaven. Your name is written in the book of life eternal.

You are filled with the power of the resurrected Christ through his very own Holy Spirit. That Holy Spirit within is stronger than the one of this world. You can persevere, child of God!

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you in greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Satan is coming close to the end of his leash. The power of evil will run its course, and Christ has overcome the world. Remain strong in the one who is within you.

Lord,

Keep us focused on Your strength and power. You can work through the times of great weakness and darkness. Teach us your ways above the ways of the world.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Prayer, Patience, Joy

Here is a short Bible verse to memorize. It covers life and what we need to do. See what you think.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

That about sums it up. Turn to God with everything in prayer. Be constantly in touch with him. Walk with him. Talk with him. Listen to him. Pray.

Be patient in waiting. God is working even when you don’t see it or feel it. In the middle of a mess, God is walking ahead, putting things in motion.  Be patient.

Hope remains. Hope realized is no longer hope. Hope is always there, just around the corner, in the next year, in the next hour, in a smile, in a friend, in God. Find hope.

Life isn’t easy. Give your burdens to the one of your heart, the one who knows you inside and out, the one who will one day call you home. It’s Jesus.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

Jesus,

Thank you for your word. It tells us how to live. It brings us ideas on what to do. It reminds us to be patient, to pray and to hope.

Amen

Out Of Control

Are you in the midst of chaos? Feeling like circumstances are so far out of control, you aren’t sure what to do next? We live in a fallen world. The creation is crying out. Our souls are crying out. Anxiety, anger and addiction are running rampant through our younger generation. What do we do and where do we go with all of it?

As followers of Jesus Christ, we know where to go. We go to the foot of the cross. We plead to the throne of heaven. We present our needs and trust him to find an answer. When we don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for u. When we trust him in the middle of the hurricane, there is calm in the midst of the storm. We find rest. We find peace. We find patience. We find hope.

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Romans 8:25-26

Isn’t that comforting? The Holy Spirit himself is groaning right along with us through the desperate times in our lives. He understands. He intercedes. And I can attest to the promise Jesus gives us to work all things together for good. It makes no sense, but God is with us and will work it out.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

His purpose. Maybe that’s part of the problem. We won’t understand his purpose completely until we are in eternity with no more tears, no more pain, no more crying. Give it all to him to work it out for you.

Lord,

Give us the patience. Give us the prayer. Give us the hope to trust you when we can’t find an answer. Comfort those who grieve. Put your loving arms around us today as we welcome your mighty presence.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Strong and Courageous

The resurrection power of the risen Lord lives within you! Heaven’s gate is open to your prayers. Jesus intercedes for us in the world and against the power of Satan. Feel his strength and stand tall in his confidence. The one within you has the power to overcome anything.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God’ all things are possible with God. Mark 10:27

I can do all things with Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

On our own, we are doomed for destruction.  Hope fails. Life comes up empty. Jesus fills in the God-sized hole in our souls. Suddenly, he finds strength in our weakness, hope in the midst of despair, and faith to overcome our doubt. Faith can move mountains. With God, all things are possible. He brings triumph from our tragedies and a message from our mess. Turn it over to him. He is with you wherever you go.

Jesus,

With you all things are possible. Don’t let us forget the power of the Spirit within us. The power of your resurrection came into our earthly lives and we thank you.

Amen

The Unseen

I have been privileged to know and love older women of faith, in the churches I have attended and through a Bible study I facilitated for several years. Some of them are in heaven with Jesus and two of my closest friends in the Lord are in the ebbing years of life.

The following verses are my favorites and I know I have shared them in the past. I have read them at funerals and I use them to remind myself that my body, too, will eventually tire and wear down. But as we age, as we grow weary, as we learn to live with aches and pains, with disease and deteriorating eyesight and hearing, something beautiful is moving in our spirits.

I have seen this miraculous power coming straight from heaven, in the older generation of believers. A knowledge of what is to come, an increasing anticipation of heaven, an excitement beyond measure at the thought of seeing Jesus face-to-face keeps them filled with joy. How beautiful are the ways of the Lord. Focus on him today.

Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Jesus,

We fix our eyes on you. You renew us day by day. The eternity that awaits us will far exceed any momentary troubles on earth. Give comfort and peace to those in the midst of suffering. Increase their joy in you in anticipation of the life everlasting.

Amen

Beyond Our Circumstances

Reading the words of the Gospel last week brought me to a place of deep gratitude and humility. It’s a good idea to go back again and again to the truth of the work of Jesus on the cross and what it means to us. That cross of suffering, where the holy blood of the most-high God was shed for you and me is a symbol of unconditional love, beyond human understanding.

Living our lives with the power of the Holy Spirit, in deep gratitude, develops in us a perpetual focus on God himself, rather than on our short lives on earth. Can we really trust him with everything? Can we trust him through hurt and doubt and grief and worry? Probably an impossible task for our weak human minds, hearts and emotions, but God is worthy of our trust and praise.

Looking back, I can see his hand and his strength through the most difficult and despairing moments of my life. He somehow, over time, works things for his good. Maybe that’s the tough part. Getting to the place where we want to please him, more than ourselves.  Beyond your feelings today, trust his undying love for you. Beyond your circumstances, he brings hope. Beyond the grave, he brings eternal life.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

Lord,

Our grateful hearts reach up to you. Guide our lives as we lean on your understanding above our own. Lead us to trust you with it all until we reach heaven’s door.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Now What?

You may have made the most important decision of your life, to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. I pray this sacrificial price he paid, the gift of grace he offers and the hope of life everlasting will fill you each day with peace and joy and blessed assurance.

I want to relieve your mind with the “Now What?” question. After we are saved, as we saw yesterday, the Holy Spirit moves into our lives. The very Spirit of our loving God seals us and fills us. Now, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God continues to work in us.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you, will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

The Word of God will continue its work as we read and study. Nothing has added more to my life than the Bible. It is a living breathing testimony to Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. And somehow, miraculously, over time, we begin to grow in the image of Christ. The Bible becomes like a mirror, in which we begin to see ourselves and the beauty of Jesus within us! And as we grow, he moves us from glory to glory.

And we all, with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Our lives are precious and short, even if we live to be 100. Having an eternal perspective and following Jesus, gives us purpose and hope. Keep asking for his love to guide you, for his Spirit to fill you and thank him for giving you eternal life. Read the word of God faithfully and he will continue his good work in you. I will continue praying for you. Hear this benediction of blessing from the word of God.

The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Signed, Sealed, Deliverred

If you have believed in the Gospel of grace and accepted Jesus, I humbly thank him. My greatest desire is to share his deep and abiding love with others. It is a life-changing decision. If you are a believer, your sins are forgiven, past, present and future. You now have the Holy Spirit of the living God living in you!  Jesus’ words on the cross remind us that he gave everything and we don’t have to do anything ourselves.

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:30

It is finished. Feel that freedom. He fills us with his light, his truth, his wisdom, his peace, and his joy. The very Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, seals us the moment we believe. You may not feel different, but you are sealed forever, already seated in heaven for eternity.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13

You believe. You are sealed. And now, nothing, not ever, can separate you from the love of Christ. Take in the following verses. Let them go straight to your heart.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, not anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Jesus,

Continue to grow us in our faith. Thank you for the gift of salvation, for the Bible to guide us each day and for loving us. Grow us in your love, so we can show others the way to you and your truth.

Amen

Just Believe?

Can it be so simple? The Gospel tells us the good news of Jesus coming to earth to save us. Now what? If you believe it is true, and I pray you do, all he asks of us is to accept his grace-filled, sacrificial gift. That’s it. Don’t let anyone add to or take away from this truth. The thief next to Jesus on the cross believed right before his death, and Jesus promised him they would be together in paradise!

If you are tired of living life on your own, trying to figure things out, if you feel guilt or shame, wouldn’t it make sense to rely on the Creator of the world? The one offering forgiveness with unconditional love, sacrificial love beyond any earthly love we have had or will ever share? If you realize you need a Savior, tell Jesus you believe in him. Humble yourself before him and seek His forgiveness and ask for new life in Him. He meets us exactly where we are. Ask him into your life and when you seek him, he promises you will find him. Here are two Scriptures of reassurance. Just believe!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Did you notice the verse above says “whoever?” That’s us.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

If you profess your faith with your mouth and believe it in your heart, you WILL be saved. A life forever in heaven. Why would anyone turn it down?

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:10

If you are ready, pray the following prayer, believe it deep in your heart, and you will be adopted into the family of God!

Dear Jesus,

I need you in my life. I humble myself before you, asking you to forgive my sins, past, present and future. I believe that you died for me, that you were buried and that you rose again on the third day. I ask you to be my Savior, to seal me with your Holy Spirit and to give me your peace that passes all understanding, to walk with me through the rest of my life and to give me the promise of eternal life. Thank you, Jesus.

If you have believed, professed your faith and accepted Jesus as Savior, welcome to the family of believers! Remember, there is no work we can do to earn it, nothing of our own volition. It is a true gift. Read these beautiful verses.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

There is no greater gift. Amazing grace! Amazing God!
