Faith Supports

 

     What have you built your life upon? Does it hold you secure when the first sign of a storm appears? Will you sink when the tidal waves crash into you with force? Or are you built on the firm foundation of faith in Christ?

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house, yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds beat and blew against that house, and it fell with a great crash. Matthew 7:25-27

     Our faith provides a firm foundation, built on the rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ. He will hold you up through the greatest storms in life and will not allow you to be crashed. Rely on Him.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

     Our faith will sustain us through the flames and the waves, through the storms of life. Be assured of Jesus. Find hope in Him alone. Build your spiritual house on the solid rock.

But the Lord has become my fortress and my God, the rock in whom I take refuge. Psalm 94:22

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:4

Father,

Our foundation is secure, set, on the Rock of our salvation, Jesus. Our faith assures us of heaven, even in the midst of trials and tests on earth, You are there to protect and provide.
