Where Is Hope?

If you can’t find hope, seek it.

“Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

If you can’t hear God’s voice, stop and listen.

He says, “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10a

If you can’t find peace, pray.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

If you are weary, cast your cares on Jesus.

“Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

If you are feeling weak, count on His strength.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

If you are in mourning, Christ will bring you comfort.

Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5b

Seek, be still, pray, come to Him, count on His strength, allow Him to comfort you. He brings hope.

Jesus,

Thank You for Your Word. We trust You to see us through, to begin again, to find strength and joy and peace. We pray for everyone to come to know You in a real way. Sometimes the light shines most brightly during the darkest of days.

Amen
