Coping and Hoping

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
Do not give up. Do not grow weary. There is a vision happening in the world around us, as we draw close together (at a physical distance) in a common goal. Life and death issues, like COVID19, give us opportunities to open our eyes to possibilities.  Our lives, as we lived them, have been turned upside down, and broken down to the bare necessities.
Groceries, family, friends and health. Is God giving us time to reflect? Will this bring about new generations of caring for one another? This virus will pass and our lives will pick up once again. Will we make more room for God?
This is a time to do good, to look for decency and honor, to listen to the experts working 24/7 to keep us updated and safe, a time to reach out. Doing good may include a phone call, mailing a card, delivering groceries, simple solutions during a complex time. A vision for tomorrow looks encouraging to me. How about you?
Lord,
Protect us. Lead us. Hear us. Heal us.
Amen
