God’s care for us offers us peace and joy, even when we are faced with new viruses, uncertain markets, strange weather patterns, political unrest and unending terror threats. The world around us can affect us in harmful ways, leading to stress and fear, with anxiety and doubt. Remember, God never changes.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
His care for us also includes His protection. Let His strength and power and His protective love lift you up in the days ahead. Listen to His words for us today.
But let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. Psalm 5:11
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Ever-present. Strong. Powerful. Protective. Our God is a mighty God. And He is right by your side.
So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
I leave you with a few verses from Psalm 91. The entire Psalm will give you comfort and peace as you allow God’s protective arms to give you rest.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91;1
He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11
His angels will be called. His feathers will surround you with warmth. We find rest in His mighty shadow. Find rest for your souls.
Father,
Your protection is available as we live out our lives. Send Your angels to guard us and Your faithfulness to give us peace.
