I pray you are feeling the love of Jesus this week, coming to Him as a child, listening to His calming voice as He holds you in safety and peace. This is the type of love we offer our children. We delight in them. We protect them and nourish them. Allow God to give you that and more. You are His forever.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32
God is not a harsh task master watching to see what we do wrong. He has given us all things, every good and perfect gift of ours is from above, and not only has He offered us eternal life, but right now, this very second, He is delighting in you and singing over you!
The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. Psalm 147:11
He brought me out unto a spacious place. He rescues me because He delights in me. Psalm 19:18
For the Lord takes delight in His people. He crowns the humble with victory. Psalm 149:4
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you. In His love, He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
Father,
You take great delight in us, just as we do in our children and grandchildren. The thought of You singing over us is precious, just as we sing lullabies to our little ones, You sing over us as You guard our lives and we are grateful.
