Last Saturday, I had the privilege of spending the whole day with my beautiful daughters. Just as earthly parents enjoy the company of their children and appreciate sharing their lives and walking alongside them, so, too, our God loves to spend time with us.
The comparisons end as we recognize our imperfections and weaknesses and compare them to the perfect love our God has for us. His intimate knowledge of who we are and how we are made and His willingness to guide us and bring good to our lives, allows us to come to Him with full confidence.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:12
God’s grace and mercy for us is unending. Cast all of your cares on Him, spend time with Him, run to the throne of grace.
Cast all of your cares on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Lord,
You love spending time with us. As Your beloved children, we can come to You with everything because You care for us. We love You.
