A Word for the Weekend

God’s angels are fascinating, spectacular, unique and impossible to imagine.  We met an archangel named Michael, a bearer of good news named Gabriel, the six-winged seraphim above the Lord’s throne, and the cherubim beneath and around the throne. These cherubs were described as having four faces, four wings, fiery coals nearby, and wheels with eyes that follow them! Whew! Hope you are up for more. We will take a quick peek at the devil and his angels. We don’t want to give him too much of our time, but we do need to be aware of who he is and his deceptive ways. Did you know he was created to be one of God’s guardian angels? Later next week we will see what the angels have to do with us on earth. Here is a hint.

For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.  Psalm 91:11-12

Be aware of God’s presence this weekend. Feel His love and protection surrounding you.
