Our Father, who art in
heaven, hallowed be Your Name.
What a beautiful way to start our day, by praising
God. He is our Father, our loving Father or “Abba” (See Romans 8) translated to
daddy. Beginning our prayers each morning with time to praise our Father takes
the focus off of ourselves onto the One who created us and everything around
us. His ways are always higher than our ways and His thoughts are always higher
than our thoughts (see Isaiah 55)
Remember, we are in this together. He is not just my Father or your Father,
but OUR father. The believers in Christ are joined as brothers and sisters in
His family, living here on earth and forever in heaven.
Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and
the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3
Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the
heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3
Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His great mercy He has
given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3
Hallowed be His holy name. Praise Him. He is our
Father.
Dear Father in heaven,
We do praise You, most of all for sending Your Son,
Jesus to live on earth and take the punishment for our sins. We can’t thank and
praise You enough for Your love. We focus on praising You right now.
Amen
