God sees us at home in heaven. We are written in
His book of life. Our temporary, earthly existence is our opportunity to bring
glory to Jesus. Living or dying for this purpose makes everything worthwhile.
If
we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether
we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8
What comfort this
offers us! We belong to Jesus. He is holding you right this very minute, in His
Almighty hand, with His unfailing love. He is faithful and kind, slow to anger.
He abides with us.
Your
love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Psalm 36:5
But
You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in
love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15
Jesus,
Your love and faithfulness will abide with us
through life and death unto eternity. We praise You for Your unfailing love and
for the way you meet our daily needs.
