Easter's Light

     The three hours of darkness that fell as Jesus suffered on the cross would become pure light to the world at His resurrection.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.  Mark 16:6

     He is risen!! This should be our praise every single day. Remember His resurrection this Sunday as we celebrate the victory over death. He is risen! He is risen indeed!

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.  1 Peter 2:9

Father,

We thank You for the empty tomb on Easter morning. Jesus rose from death and lives with You in heaven. We await His coming while living in His glorious light. Let us shine with it wherever we go.
